Thread Safety

Public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.

Remarks

The CarRentalAgentService provides multiple possibilities for backend filtering. Since various booking modules need to make such Filters available to their users, this job needn't be implemented by every frontend itself. Furthermore the filter mechanisms may be changed, because of changing business rules, which now can be done by CarRentalAgentService once for all instead of changing each booking module. This class indicates whether the handover(see: LocationMeetingType) is available for a specific RatesRequest. In other words, it answers the following questions: 1) Is there any Rate, for my specific Offer-Search and the mentioned Handover? 2) Does it therefore make sense to show the corresonding Filter-Option to the Frontend-User? 3) How many Rates are a available for a specific Handover?
